I teach Spanish and tutor students in the language as well. I attended Longwood University for my bachelor's degrees in ESOL and Spanish, concentrating on education for K-12 students. As an undergraduate, I tutored Spanish on campus, assisting beginners as well as students with some levels of proficiency. I also had the opportunity as an undergraduate to spend time studying in Argentina and Costa Rica. I have a very friendly attitude, and I'm able to get along with everyone. I provide support and encouragement to help students learn languages, and I am empathetic to the learning barriers people face trying to become proficient. I modify my approach based on the learning style of each student after figuring out their needs and seeing how they learn best. In my free time, I like to get outdoors, run, cook, salsa dance, listen to music, watch movies, and travel.
