EducationGeorge Mason University - BS, Economics
ExperienceI am a sophomore working at completing a B.S. in Economics with an emphasis in Managerial Economics at George Mason University. The subjects that are of particular interest to me in tutoring are English and Math for younger students. In high school, I was involved with a tutoring organization (GIVE), where I was inspired by the children in the program and their dedication and motivation to learn despite the challenges they may have faced in life. As a tutor, I am capable of finding engaging activities and inventive approaches to tutoring that work to help students achieve proficiency in the material at hand. I am originally from Egypt, but have received the majority of my schooling in the U.S. However, I was able to spend some of my middle school and high school years in Egypt. The experience has taught me how diverse educational systems are around the world and how important a solid education is for success in life. I try to share this mentality with my students. When I am not studying or working, I like baking, volunteering, and reading. I love traveling and hope to one day travel the world.
